I’m Andy, or sometimes vxhex when I need to be more specific.

I’m a software security wrangler living in Michigan. I’ve helped develop and secure all sorts of software over the years. I mostly work on web and mobile applications, but occasionally dabble in network and hardware projects.

These days, most of my screen time is spent on application security research and building custom security automation.

When I’m not fighting with computers, I’m usually helping my partner tend to our vegetable gardens and beehives.

Fun Facts

• I once edited a COBOL module that had last been touched before I was born.
• In early high school, I sold copies of my TI-BASIC casino game for $1. It was written entirely on the calculator during my math classes, and was the first time I sold any of my code.
